Greetings to Their Royal Majesties Ivan and Katalena, and to Heirs of the Midrealm Kilian and Jalida,
As their Excellencies Louis and Sadb prepare for much needed rest from stewardship of these lands, the Barony of Roaring Wastes finds itself in need of a new Baron and Baroness.
Allow us to introduce ourselves as willing servants of the Crown; AEthelstan Whiteoak and Sóma Hjálmarsdóttir. When we came to this land nearly 11 years ago, we were enchanted by the brilliancy of it’s artists and the vibrancy of it’s martial presence. Those were only first impressions. Since then we have dug to the roots of this Barony to find passion, compassion, and above all, community, at it’s core. We have found friends and new family that will celebrate accomplishments both great and small with us, as well as help carry heavy burdens throughout life. We have found a Home.
When Louis and Sadb stepped up to care for this great community, no one could have expected the toil and sweat it would take to survive the great plague that was coming. Where others struggled and withered, Their Excellencies led us to draw our strength from to those roots. It is with their guidance and generosity, that the Barony has sown the seeds of re-growth after a long plague-ridden winter. It is our goal to see the Barony grow and flourish in the seasons to come; and to share it’s brilliance and vibrancy with all the Kingdom and the Known World beyond.
