Hunt for the White Stag
Hosted by the Barony of Roaring Wastes 

Saturday, Oct 7th 10 am to 6:00 pm

Come to the Barony of Roaring Wastes for a day of fun featuring Archery, Thrown Weapon, Combat Archery challenges as well as Heavy Weapons and Rapier for those that have missed it for the past Year!!!

Archery!!! Featuring a 15 target 3D woods walk!!!
Archery ranges will open at 10am with novelty shoots and tournaments running throughout the day.
- 3D Shoot will consist of 15 stations at varying distance and angles. Fun for all ages and skill levels. (There is woods involved. Wear proper foot gear and leg coverings)
- Our novelty tournament will be similar to a bear-pit style, with archers "Competing" in individual challenges throughout the day.  Archers will be awarded one bead for each challenge, one bead for a win and two beads for a win at targets 30 yds and beyond.
- Youth Archery: Most of the targets are youth-friendly: Loaner gear is available for kids ages 5-18.  Special participation prizes for all kids.

Combat Archery
New this year: Novelty shoots! We will also be offering sign-offs on MIT paperwork, including classes on bow/ammo inspection.  If you've never tried combat.

Heavy Weapons
Featured tounaments this year is a Three-Man combined arms tournament where the team consist of an armored fighter, rapier fighter, and combat archer.  Authorizations and speed tournament in the morning and open sparring throughout the day.

11-12pm Speed Tournament - bring your best
12-1pm Lunch
2-4pm 3 Man Combined Arms Tournament
4-5pm Open Sparring
- Open Pickup all day for those that just want to get time back in armour

Rapier
In addition to the Three-Man combined arms tournament, featured activities include a bear pit tourney and a dice tourney.  Authorizations in the morning and open sparring between tourneys.

Baked apples: Apples, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, sugar, flour = $2.00 dollars
Hot tea: mint and oolong = $1.00 dollar
Sodas: = $1.00 dollar
